Doppler Signatures of the Atmospheric Circulation on Hot Jupiters

Investigating how to characterise the circulation patterns of hot Jupiters using Doppler measurements. Considers the cases of GJ 436b (ok, so this one isn't a hot Jupiter) and the usual suspects HD 189733b and HD 209458b.
