We talked about this five years ago but nothing was done about it.

What does everyone think of adding a sub-forum for discussions about modelling and fitting data? RV data, transit light curves, etc.

As I detailed over there, my vote is a definite yea. Heck, even if it were just me doing work (though you folks would never let me run the show, hah!), it would be a yes.

Now time to dig through the other subforums for threads that I vaguely remember that should be moved to the new subforum.

Excellent! I'll see what I can dig out of my systemic folder.

In the meantime, do you think you could add some kind of "community discussion" sticky so that folks can discuss things about the forum? We can see where to take things from there.

It might be reasonable to keep such discussion in this thread and subforum. That is what this subforum is about, after all.  Razz

Sorry, I mean in the subforum - because it involves the users more than the others, I thought it would be useful to have a place where the users could discuss anything that needs addressing.
