Does anyone have a convenient formula to convert between G magnitudes and V magnitudes?

This paper (pdf) contains a load of magnitude transformations, see table A.2 for details.

For example, they give the following relationship for G-V, taking account also of the colour as expressed by GBP-GRP (Gaia blue and red passbands):

G-V = -0.01760-0.006860*(GBP-GRP)-0.1732*(GBP-GRP)2±0.045858
