ESO News Release: eso1204: Planet Population Is Plentiful

Also contains a version of the Nature paper: One or more bound planets per Milky Way star from microlensing observations

From statistical analysis of microlensing data from 2002-2007, the planet abundances within 0.5-10 AU, broken down by mass range:

Jupiters (0.3-10 MJ): 17+6-9%
Neptunes (10-30 M): 52+22-29%
Super-Earths (5-10 M): 62+35-37%
