PostSubject: HD 80653 b: ultra-short-period rocky super-Earth around a G2 star   HD 80653 b: ultra-short-period rocky super-Earth around a G2 star Empty9th January 2020, 3:59 pm

A rocky planet in a ~17 hour orbit around a sunlike star, characterised by K2 and HARPS-N. Estimated dayside temperature ~3480 K.

Frustagli et al. "An ultra-short period rocky super-Earth orbiting the G2-star HD 80653"

There are hints of curvature in the RV residuals, which might indicate the presence of an additional ~0.35–0.50 Jupiter mass planet in a ~260–400 day orbit.
