Fifth Catalogue of Nearby Stars Empty
PostSubject: Fifth Catalogue of Nearby Stars   Fifth Catalogue of Nearby Stars Empty8th November 2022, 6:58 pm

Not directly related to exoplanets but may be of interest here. The Fifth Catalogue of Nearby Stars is available at https://dc.g-vo.org/CNS5 and the paper preprint is on arXiv.

Golovin et al. "The Fifth Catalogue of Nearby Stars (CNS5)"
https://arxiv.org/abs/2211.01449

In addition to the CNS5 sequence numbers, new GJ numbers (the final author in the author list, Hartmut Jahreiß is the "J" in "GJ") are assigned in the range 10000–13461, e.g. Luhman 16 is designated GJ 11551 and WISE 0855-0714 is GJ 11286. The catalogue contains cross references to both Gaia EDR3 and HIP identifiers.
