Detecting Solar System planets is much different than detecting exoplanets. We can detect exoplanets astrometrically (provided they were initially discovered through radial velocity) in a fairly straightforward way because the star and planetary system's motion is not coupled to Earth's. However, in the Solar System, Jupiter also influences Earth as well as the Sun. This complicates the issue.
