| Hi,
does anyone have an opinion about the recent book:
Transiting Exoplanets by Carole A. Haswell
I was thinking of buying it but given the cost I would like to have some review or feedback on it.

| Looks like the author has worked with SuperWASP and RoPACS. With the rate at which the field is evolving, it may not be entirely up-to-date. I haven't read it so I can't offer much else. _________________ Caps Lock: Cruise control for 'Cool'!

Yes, I saw that page too It is actually nice that the book is from someone who is actively "in the business". BTW, early next year we will have also some potentially interesting books from Sara Seager. | |

| I bought the book. It is very well written. Very thorough and yet very readable. It has many exercises throughout. I recommend it highly. | |
