Question is how to get HIP 13044b into its current orbit while taking into account the evolution of the star through its red giant phase.
Possible Implications of the Planet Orbiting the Red Horizontal Branch Star HIP 13044
Seems to suggest that the low metallicity of the star was an important factor.
