MESSENGER Finds New Evidence for Water Ice at Mercury's Poles

Some of the ice is buried under "unusually dark material" that may be organics deposited by impacts of comets and volatile-rich asteroids. The possibility of organics at Mercury's poles is certainly interesting if true.
