Carbon monoxide on HD 189733b Empty
PostSubject: Carbon monoxide on HD 189733b   Carbon monoxide on HD 189733b Empty16th April 2013, 4:18 pm

Detection of carbon monoxide in the high-resolution day-side spectrum of the exoplanet HD 189733b
http://arxiv.org/abs/1304.4014

Including a measurement of the planet's orbital velocity (effectively an eclipsing double-lined spectroscopic binary), allowing to solve for the mass of the star. Not sure if this has been done before for HD 189733 — IIRC only for HD 209458 and Tau Boötis.
