That's certainly a disappointment.
Non-M dwarf nearby systems:
Alpha Centauri -- Now seems unlikely to host habitable planets.
Sirius -- Out of the question.
Eps Eri -- Too young?
Procyon -- Out of the question.
61 Cygni?
If there is ever a manned interstellar mission to settle a habitable planet, it might be that they'll have to travel much farther than 4.5 ly. Still, there's a lot of stars within 15 light years. I'm sure that there'll be something interesting.
I guess with today's limited knowledge, Eps Eri looks like the best choice for an interstellar probe.
