Five great
books on Extra-Solar planets:

Extrasolar planets: the search for new worlds
Stuart Clark (1998)

NewWorlds in the Cosmos: the discovery of Exoplanets
Michel Mayor and PierreYves Frei (2003)

The New Worlds: extrasolar planets
Fabienne Casoli and Thérèse Encrenaz (2007)

The crowded Universe: the search for living planets
Alan Boss (2009)

Transiting Planets (IAU Symposium 253)
Fréderic Pont and Didier Queloz (2009)

Could forum-members point-out or recommend other, more recent books?
Thanks in advance…
Phill

Just wanted to point out a well-illustrated book for the general public and youth:
Faraway Worlds Paul Halpern (2004)

Announcement of publication for July 2010:
Transiting Exoplanets Carole Haswell (2010)

are there any books that have a "field guide" feel to them where each exoplanetary system has their own page? gosh i'd love that, even if it would be out of date the day it was published.

Lazarus has hinted at wanting to start a project like that on the internet (And if you're still up to that, Lazarus, I'd be more than willing to help).

Still playing around with this idea, yes. Still at very early stages though.
