Stability of Satellites in Closely Packed Planetary Systems
http://arxiv.org/abs/1308.4402

The very closest planetary pairs (excluding the case of co-orbital planets) can be destabilised if a lunar-mass satellite is present, but in general the closely-packed planetary systems should not be a problem for satellites to remain stable. Whether the formation process for such systems causes disruption of satellite systems is another matter.
