| When I had got old Systemic Console I had detected a substellar companion to Beta UMi with similar parameters, though with higher minimum mass. | |

| Mu Leonis I recognise as one of the few well-characterised super metal-rich (Fe/H = 0.3) giants. - Edasich wrote:

Were you using a higher mass for the star? Wikipedia among other places list ~2 M ☉, while this paper uses 1.4 M ☉. - Stalker wrote:

This part is pretty interesting - pollution by mass accretion seems to be the only way for barium stars to form, which implies that all barium stars have degenerate companions at short-to-moderate separations. I wonder how that applies here.

Unless future imaging campaigns or astrometric measurements of substellar candidates detect them.

| beta Cancri have a M dwarf wide companion.
I think the white dwarfs might be detected along with this exoplanets... _________________

| Ursa Minor Beta is a well-known place for Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fans.
Now need to figure out where I can get a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster to celebrate...
