| The Solar Twin Planet Search. V. Close-in, low-mass planet candidates and evidence of planet accretion in the solar twin HIP 68468 https://arxiv.org/abs/1610.09067A pair of planets with minimum masses of 26 and 2.9 Earth-masses at 0.66 and 0.03 AU, respectively. _________________ Caps Lock: Cruise control for 'Cool'!

| Radial Velocity programmes have gotten so advanced, we're able to detect and characterise the orbits of Lunar-mass objects, according to the EPE's entry for the b planet. _________________ Caps Lock: Cruise control for 'Cool'!

First detection of Extrasolar Dwarf Planet? I've noticed a really slovenly management and update of EPE lately. A lot of validated Kepler and K2 transiting planets are missing (nearly 90 in total!) as well as several imaged and radial velocity-detected planets, designations are often too much approximated and planetary parameters inaccurate. On the other hand they seem focusing on bibliographic references only, even reporting discoveries and detection but often without transferring them in the catalog. K2-31 b, K2-35 b & c, K2-EPIC planets from K2-42 to K2-92 b, K2-97 b, Kepler planets from Kepler-97 to Kepler-434 to mention some... Plus KOI-205 b actually matches with Kepler-492 b but it is still there listed twice separately. | |
